Of course you don't have to limit yourself to just one of these - any combination can be considered.

Punch & Judy Shows

When you book a Punch & Judy show with either Peter or Miraiker, you are guaranteed a traditional show.   

Full sized, professional booths in the easily recognised red and white striped canvas are accompanied by quality, hand-carved wooden puppets. An action-packed story follows the antics of Mr Punch, Judy and the baby, Joey the clown, the policeman and the sausage-eating crocodile, plus many more characters.

Our shows are completely self-contained, including a battery operated amplification system when appropriate.

Punch & Judy shows are suitable for almost every type of event. Fetes and other outdoor events often require several shows over the course of the afternoon or day. For parties you may like to combine a Punch & Judy show with some magic and balloons.

Magic

Peter and Miraiker offer a variety of children's magic. All of our magic is bright and colourful to appeal to a young audience. Audience participation is encouraged and some children are invited up to help. 

We are able to cater for a wide age range and have plenty of different effects for repeat bookings. You can book a magic show for a party or other event with or without a puppet show. 

We are also able to offer "walkabout" magic for larger events where a more mobile entertainment is required. This can always be combined with some balloon modeling.

Balloon modeling

Balloon modelling is a favourite with children these days and Peter and Miraiker are both able modellers.

Balloons always go down well at a party, whether it's just for the birthday child or one each for all of the children to take home with them.

They are also ideal for promotions - your customers will be delighted when their children have a balloon modelled for them when they visit your store.

Balloons are a great complement to a Punch & Judy show and we usually give a few away to the younger children after shows at fetes and other outdoor events.

Other Puppet shows

Puppet shows other than Punch & Judy are always available.

You can expect the same high quality of puppets in these shows, along with an action-packed story.

We are currently performing Little Red Riding Hood, - a fun filled story with colourful cast. This is ideal for younger children.

Walkabout Puppetry

Coming soon we have a walkabout show for those events where static shows are not appropriate. 

Specially created for this show are a selection of shorter stories. Stories of George and the dragon, stories of witches and princes, of robbers and many more. 

These are particularly suitable for mix and mingle type of entertainment needed at larger events.

Talks

Adult groups such as Women's Institutes or retirement clubs can book Peter or Miraiker to come and give a light-hearted talk on the tradition of Punch & Judy.

Talks are usually rounded up with a show.

Talks are also available for schools. The content will vary depending on the age groups. These always finish with a show.
